Pro Skiier In The Making!!!

on saturday afternoon gabe and shawn went up to stevens pass to ski again. this time gabe's instructor was none other than "drill sergeant shawn" a.k.a. dad. gabe had not gone up the lift the weekend before or down any slope other than the bunny hill, so shawn thought he should give it a whirl!! well they jumped right in. they went down the green slopes a couple of times and gabe only got really frustrated with his instructor a couple of times when he couldn't get up and the drill sergeant was adament he was getting up on his own. dad finally flopped down and showed gabe how to get up. then they headed for the blue slopes. for those of you not familiar with skiing, the green slopes are the easiest and for those wondering these are the ones i spoke of seeing at warp speed!! the blue slopes are the next step up in difficulty, and for those wondering these are the ones i will never step foot on to see at warp speed!! shawn said gabe did great. they stayed late enough to get to go night skiing, gabe thought it was pretty cool to go skiing in the dark!!
